Athlete Development
and
the Performance Pathway 

Derbyshire ASA in association with Derbyshire Sport, ASA East Midland Region and Derventio eXcel are in the process of reviewing the Performance Pathway in the county for the development of swimmers from learn to swim through to Elite Swimmer

This review is being managed by a performance management group with representatives from each of the parties.

A number of possible models are being considered and during May consultation meetings will be held in the county to give all interested parties the opportunity to influence the final outcome.

In order to keep the county swimming community informed a position statement will be published here following each meeting of the performance management group.
