Development in the county is overseen by the development manager supported by the county swimming development officer.
Each year the county prepares a development plan which is aimed a achieving targets in line the regional targets.
In order to achieve these targets the county supports clubs in applying for SWIM21 accreditation and in mounting courses for the development of their coaches and volunteers.
